flash menu competition?

In this homepage of my shop I have 2 flash menus, one on the left (with blue buttons) and one on the right, with images (the buttons are the product names).

1. many times the left menu is gone when I first go into this page. why is this? why does the html (or php) not load it?

2. when they're both there, only one works. If the left one is ok and the buttons take us to the correct links, the other won't work, and vice-versa. why?...

It seems there's a competition of some sort between them...

Please help me out as I'm desperate to publicize the shop but cannot while this isn't solved...

I'm not a flash expert, some expert here will help you to solve this. I just want to leave you a link regarding Flash:

The point is that, search engines can not read the links in your flash and can not crawl all your pages. They may get better in the future, who knows.

Again, it's just a good read. I'm not saying that you should remove the flash or anything, that's your decision.
