Modifying the main page featured products module to work in Flash

Does anyone have experience modifying the featured products (main page module) to work in a flash display system?

I am not concerned with building the flash design, just how to incorporate the correct code to make it randomly pull the array of products.

I don't want to build a static SWF that displays the same products every time and needs to be edited if I want to update the products,
