OK, so it looks like navCatTabs and centerbox need to go away. How do I do that?

You can turn off Category Tabs in Admin->Configuration->Layout Settings->Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF

OK, so far so good.
Some more issues:
- In safari, IE, there is a small link/image above my flash header which leads to the unsecured catalog url. I want this gone.
- Images don't appear in centerbox when I'm accessing via ssl:
http://secure.hostmonster.com/~nonfinit/catalog
- IE "click to view" flash issue still present.

The documentation in that .rar leaves quite a bit to the imagination.
I don't even really know where to begin with it...am I just supposed to go through, rename everything to match my current template, and upload to /catalog?
Still seeking help with the small link above flash header in IE and safari.
