Cart Contents on Mouseover

Hey guys, I was looking to possibly start a contribution but was having some trouble. My goal is to do the following:

1) Have a link for the Shopping cart similar to "Shopping Cart | 1 Item(s): $1.00" either in the header or sidebox. This is easily done.

2) Use Ajax/javascript to display the shopping cart sidebox on mouseover.

I was examining several premade solutions for ideas such as jTIP, but can't seem to get it to work. Anyone attempt anything similar?

How about trying Xajax? I got it working very nicely, there is a module in the download section for xajax, but i had some problem with that module tho.

Anyway, if you use xajax, all you have to do is to have your mouseover calls back a function, which is a php function, this in turn can of course get the cart content etc then put it where ever you want (by using replacing innerHTML or other methods supported by xajax)

To clarify, I'm looking to do something like this. Instead of showing an image and text, I want to show the contents of the cart. Would you know if I can accomplish this using PHP include, or would I have to achieve this by another means?
