Purchase Listed as CC and not Paypal. No CC module set up

Hi,
I have been using Paypal Express with no problems at all. Until today.
I have a new order that says paid via CC.
I don't have any CC processing set up nor is there any type of selection except PP Express.

The transaction did not post via PP. I tried a test purchase and everything seems to work as it should.

Any ideas?

Do you have the "Credit Card - Offline module" active but disabled? Try clicking on "Remove" if you're truly not using it.

I removed it but still not sure how I got the order I did. I have over 200 orders that have worked out just fine.

OK, something has gone wrong. I now received an order paying via check.
I don't accept checks nor have the module enabled. And I tested another purchase. money order/check is not there to select.

On a hunch,
Is it possible to inject code that could fool the system into using these payment methods? Someone phishing in order to see if I send the product before securing funds. (ips are different)

FYI: Both of these orders were indeed attempts to phish. Neither person lived at the addresses that were used. One IP came from the same town but a large library. The other order came from half way across the world and not from Florida. Not long after this I got an email phishing for my Papal login info also.

I removed all payment modules except PPEx. and haven't seen any other issues.

So stay aware people. Seems it's a constant battle against the bad guys.
