1. admin panel/ configuration/ layout settings/ Main Page - Opens with Category
2. what is your setting here

Also I assume you have edited the define_mainpage.php, so she/her will show up..

It means that template monster screwed up another template,
if you switch to classic template inthe admin you should see the main page you are looking for
