    Default categories seperator?

    My Site

    the categories on the side are hard to read. i played with the css and found out how to add images under each category but it added the image to alot of other places too. is there a way to add some kind of divider between the categories so you can tell when one ends and the other starts?

    something like what this template looks like with the categories?

    Did you ever find out if this can be done? If so, would you mind too much if I asked how you did it?

    If you found a solution and could post it that would be great.

    I want to add divider lines between my TOP LEVEL categories in my category sidebox, too.

    Thanks.

    One of the functions of Categories Dressing is to add dividers in any desired locations. Its readme file describes how to use it.

    You can make a bottom border to each top category using just your stylesheet, but if the name wraps to two lines, both lines get underlined and you're back to confusion. If you can positively avoid wrapping, this will do it for you (although the underline will only extend as far as the text):

    a.category-top {border-bottom: 1px dotted #aaaaaa;}

    Other variations are possible.
