Putting my Search Box as High As my Log In Bar

What I am looking to do is raise my left bar on

www.nothingbutcostumes.com

So that it is on the same line as where the log in bar is.
and then I will move the log in bar over.

Problems I am running into is, 1) I took out the Title of the search box, but there is a space in there I cant seem to get rid of.
2) when I raise it high enough, I get an error.

Looking at another angle

Putting the Top Search bar lower by manipulating

top: -35px;
left: 670px;
}

Which works GREAT! However, It disables the rest of the Buttons on the same bar.
Is there a way for the 2 to Co Exist?
