Connecting Filemaker to Zen

I need to find a way to connect a membership database made in Filemaker to my Zen Cart.

Has anyone done this before?

I would probably lke the answer myself but not sure exactly what your potential use of the information is so that might help with an answer (eg. products, etc.).

I utilize a FM database for all products and meta information along with a number of EZ pages but currently things are handled either through easypopulate add-on or cut and paste. Not really a big deal once the habit is formed and provides the best backup your could have and global changes are easy (Filemaker rules!).

I think the easiest answer is easypopulate with either the free (pretty robust) or pay version (cheap) for most FM solutions. You already have a nice interface through Admin so why over complicate things?

If this doesn't scratch the itch maybe you can fill me in on a few more details of your needs/uses.

Current membership DB is MS Access. I have a volunteer who is working on a new DB using FM. We want the new DB online so that members can make their own changes and ultimately the annual ballot can be connected to the DB.

FM says it can use Php. So here we are.

I have uploaded Zen to the site to replace the outdated OSC cart, I can allow the volunteer access to the Zen DB to populate it and experiment but, there seems to be an easier way to do this.

Is there a way to connect them?

The primary purpose of the current cart is to accept credit cards to pay for membership packages and renewals, and shipping worldwide.
