PayPal Item Name Missing

I did a new install of 1.3.8 with PHP Version 4.4.8.
Everything works fine except when someone pays via PayPal, the item name shows as follows.

Total amount: $33.99 USD
Currency: U.S. Dollars
Item/Product Number: 1
Transaction ID: 5GX016XXXXXXX
Quantity: 1
Item/Product Name: MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPAL_PURCHASE_DECRIPTION_TITLE
Buyer: TIM XXXXXXX

The mispelling is not the issue. Anyone know of a fix for this?

replace the includes/languages/english/modules/payment/paypal.php

its missing a define

I did that, but the files were identical. Did not appear that anything was missing. Any other suggestions? This is so frustrating. People are purchasing and I have no clue what they bought.

You dont get a list on that page anyway,
the information you receive is in the Order in your ZC admin

If your not getting these orders in your zc admin you may want to take a look in the wikki and troubleshoot your paypal setup

The line is there. I reinstalled the paypal.php file anyway but it was not the problem.

The info from PayPal is combining the item amount and shipping so all I get is the customer name and addy, and the total amount. No item number. Also, the item is not removed from ZenCart inventory, the customer is added to the data base but their purchase is not recorded.

I am sure there is a simple (or not so simple) fix.
Can someone please help?

Yes as I suggested you need to look in the link at the top of this page called wiki,
there is a paypal troubleshooting guode there,

most likely causes are

1 your not using the primary paypal.com email address in your ZC paypal module
2 you dont have IPN turned on in paypal.com
3 you dont have auto return turned on in paypal.com

None of the above. Everything is installed correctly and configured properly. This is not a PayPal issue, it is in the coding SOMEWHERE.
