How do I make a flyout menu for just top-level categories?

I take it that nobody has any idea how to do this, if not could somebody suggest an alternative flyout menu that i can use for the category structure.

I think there may be some flyout menus in the download area for what you are after.

I am looking to do exactly this same thing. I prefer this dropdown menu over another one I tried though, so if anyone does know how to get it to call to the Top Level Categories that would be great!
