Default New products display all products

I know this is a very common problem but mine seems a bit worse since changing the value in the admin won't do anything. The correction probably involves Php and/or SQL but I don't know where to look for the code.

Does anyone has any idea which file I should look into?

products_date_added in products table. Alter at your own risk.

Upon further investigations, it does not appear to be related to the tables in any way. The function responsible of getting the range of new products is called zen_get_new_date_range(), is in the file functions_lookups.php and appear to be working the wat it was intended, with the right range and everything. The problem is that the file that calls this function (header_php.php) does not seem to recognize that function and, therefor, gives no range to the SQL query. I tried to "require" the file but got a blank page as a result.

Maybe I haven't made the "require" at the right place. Still looking into it so anyone can feel free to chip in with their thoughts.

I can't see a place in a fresh install of the current version of Zen Cart where what you describe is manifesting any problem.

Ok, I corrected the problem. The problem was in the function zen_get_new_date_range(). For some reason, it worked properly but didn't send the result. I don't know why anyone would type return ""; in a function so I will assume that either:

    a) it was a human error, or
    b) a faulty file transfer that deletes or adds a few characters

It's what I always assumed the cause would be since I was apparently the only one with the problem. Anyway, thanks for your help!
