    Default Product Attributes and Prices

Hey everyone, I am a bit knew to using zen cart. I am trying to set up a site but am having trouble getting the pricing to work the way I need it too. I was wondering if any of you have any ideas. The problem is that each product has different options to choose from, and the different options effect how much the other options will effect it as well. For this reason ive always used percentage increases as opposed to set increases, which the factor offset option allows me to do. But The problem is that they are not cummulative. for example.
lets try pricing by attribute with cost set to 0

    lets say there is size

    4mm ($100)
    5mm ($150)
    6mm ($180)

    and type

    lightweight (standard)
    heavy weight (+ 40 %)

    and quality

    standard
    exquisite (+40%)

what i need is for this to stack so that if they choose 6mm it takes 40% or that base and so on and so forth....where as right now it takes 40 % of the lowest cost nomatter what. Is there any way to make it cummulative. so that its

base * factor increase * factor increase * factor increase etc

or to have the attributes nested within the sort order so that selecting options will incorporate into the base cost that will effect the factor offset in later options (which is how i thought it would operate but instead it simply allocates my factor offset into a set number offset based on the smallest given price)

im not sure if you understand what i mean but if anyone knows what im talking about and a potential way to achieve it im in need. Thanks a bundle

As you have seen Zen Cart does not support cost variances based upon selected attributes.

You would need to establish a base cost and add to this the attributes price or price by attributes based upon the most relevant attribute with additions
