I too am having this problem and thought I'd chime in with anything I've tried (I dont mean to 'pile on', I'm just trying to help).

I've been using the USPS module successfully since Sep '07.

I have had the Nov patch installed since Nov.

Yesterday or so, the International First Class failed to show in the cart.

The Debug shows that it is feeding back the First Class info, I think (maybe the formatting was changed at the close of the code?).

    Re-installed the module, no change.

Re-uploaded the usps.php, reinstalled the module, no change.

    thanks!

The Nov. update really had nothing to do with this recent change. USPS announced their postage rate hike and have now changed their web api's to reflect it today. This went into effect today (May 12th, 2008).

Dr. Byte said it's being looked into so I hope we have an answer here soon. Is anyone noticinig any problems other than the First Class International?

Also, check the first post in the thread for the change info if you're trying to adjust it yourself. That was the official statement by the USPS so I copied and pasted it in there verbatim.

Thanks for the info Ben. I suppose we'll simply have to sit tight and wait for the update.

If you are using version 1.3.7 and you are not using an automatic payment (you run the transaction yourself on your own terminal or whatever), you may want to double check these shipping prices for accuracy first giving you a chance to email your customer with the updated price before making the actual transaction. Just a tip that might help avoid refunds or trying to collect more after the fact.

I don't suppose anyone within the official Zen Development group would care to offer any ideas for when a fix for the vanishing First Class International Mail will be posted eh?
