What are you talking about? I just got an order on July 12, 2008 and they put down for First Class Int'l Shipping and it went thru?
Has it been dissolved since July 12, 2008?

I haven't had much success getting the USPS module to work so I loaded the 5/12/08 usps.php. Removed the USPS module and re-installed it. I have received my USPS user id. The email also included a password, but I'm don't see anywhere on the module for it.
I'm getting the following response in test mode:
We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)
Your account is in TEST MODE. Do not expect to see usable rate quotes until your USPS account is moved to the production server (1-800-344-7779) and you have set the module to production mode in Zen Cart admin.
I'm getting this email responsed:
<Error>
<Number>80040b1a</Number>
<Description>Authorization failure. You are not authorized to connect to this server.</Description>
<Source>UspsCom::DoAuth</Source>
</Error>
Any suggestions?
Suggestions? The displayed message information seems pretty self-explanatory. Please excuse if the following sounds pretty blunt ...
After reading and following the instructions in the message displayed to you, read the USPS setup FAQ for additional guidance on doing exactly what the message is telling you: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=327 (found by searching for "USPS" in the FAQ area) or this one https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=86 (found by searching for the error message you reported).
Thanks, but no instructions I could find says what to expect in TEST mode. I expected usps rates. I've since received an email from usps saying the test was successful and I'm now switched to the production server. But...
I tested an item that weights 0.1 lbs, but the usps displays it as 3.1 lbs. Here's the error email response:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<RateResponse><Package ID="0"><Service>PRIORITY</Service><ZipOrigination>92240</ZipOrigination><ZipDestination>92240</ZipDestination><Pounds>3</Pounds><Ounces>2</Ounces><Container>None</Container><Size>REGULAR</Size><Machinable>FALSE</Machinable><Zone>1, local</Zone><Postage>5.80</Postage></Package></RateResponse>
When 0.1 lbs goes to 3.1 lbs ... the culprit is usually going to be found in your Shipping/Packaging settings where the Tare weight, by default, is 0:3 or add 3 lbs for packaging materials ...
