Order History Info

Would like a way for an user to visit their "My Accounts" and add a comment as an "Update" to any order in their "Order History".

For example, There is a PO# associated with a particular order. They can click "View" for that order, then have a text box and a button that will allow then to enter any text, and click an update button. Their comments are then added to the order with the "Order Status" = "Update".

It would also be nice if the system could E-mail the admin, if the user does the above action.

So.... Can it be done?

Well... It does when they place an order. But thats the end of any email being sent to the admin.

For example, When they place an order, the system alerts me via e-mail that an order has been placed.

From that point on, when any changes are made to the order status, the system automatically e-mails the user, not the admin. I need it to alert me that they have made a change.

Hope that clears it up. Love the software, but want to use it for more of a customer interface other than an Online-Store.

So when a client needs some work done by us, they can place the order on the system, I can approve the order, they can insert a PO# once the funds are available, then I complete the work and use the system to invoice and receive payments.

They could also vist their "My Accounts" and see all past, pending and In-Progress projects.

Would make a nice interface, and could be used to promote new services or products to our existing clients.

I f i wanted to add some information to the "Order_History_Info" page, where would I find the file to edit?

Look at the URL in the browser ... ie: main_page=xxxxxxxx

Then look at the template located at:
/includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/templates/tpl_xxxxxxx_default.php

And /includes/modules/pages/xxxxxxxx/header_php.php
