Where are the demo products stored?

Are the demo products and categories installed with a fresh installation of Zen Cart stored in the database, or are they pulled from text files or php files, or etc?

Demo products are stored in the databse,
IF you can see the demo products on your site,
and you cant find them in your database then the Dr was right and you are looking at the wrong database in phpmyadmin

I have completely dumped all tables from the database, and all the demo products are still all there. I've emailed back and forth with my host's support about this, and they think everything is just fine.

IF you can still see the demo products then you are not looking at the right DB

Look in your includes/configure.php file and verify the location and name of the DB that the system is seeing
