Image Handler 2 stopped working after server switch

Hello all! i have been using zen for a while now, and I just switched to a dedicated server (YAY!) everything is good, except the image handler is not working.

I installed and reinstalled the MySQL portion of the contribution (which I love by the way) The GD libs and image magik are installed and showing up in my phpinfo file, but the little cross over the images is not showing up and (more importently) my thumbnails have sizes of about 100kb, which is unacceptable.

I have also cleared the BMZ cache, and am wondering what the issue could be.

Any thoughts of suggestions would be vrey appreciated.

This is part of trying to manage your own server...
As you already know this works on another server...

I would install a test install with the demo products and only add IH2 to veify if this is a server issue or an issue with your other install

Can you point me in the right direction? I cant figure out why this wont work, and the images, when I check the properties in my browser, are all located in my images folder, when I checked the properties before this problem, they all were sourced out of bmz_cache. What could cause a change like this? even just a hint?

I uninstalled and reinstalled image handler, and I am still not resizing images. The safe mode is off, gd 2+ enabled, php5 and mysql5 fine, the watermarking is not working. my images still have sizes over 100 KB.

The source of the files (in the html when page is loaded) is in the images directory. when Im in the back end the image handler preview page all 3 jpg images (source, default, product) are the same huge size.

The BMZ and shopad directories are CHMOD to 777 the only contents of the BMZ directory are empty directories and a couple pngs that are associated with the preview section of the Image handler backend.

I have read dozens apon dozens of pages of the forums, but have not stumbled on a solution. Please give me a point in the right direction. Thanks
