adding description in popup info window??

Hi all:

This is my first post and I am stumped.

I want to allow a customer to read the product description and add an item to their shopping cart via the popup info window. I installed lightbox to try and do this but to no avail.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Probably possible only with some very heavy re-coding... but why would you want this? It's superfluous... (pointless, actually).
