Well, you could just type in your email address.
Or you could create a clickable link from it so that it becomes a spammer magnet:

I have tried to put it my email address and it sends the page to a unknown link.

Perhaps you should post a link to the page you've put it on so someone can see it and tell you what you've done wrong with it..
