make the categories a list item? help !!

does anyone know how i would make my gategories box on the left side a list like the information does right under it ? thanks.. here is the site i am talking about..

Categories Dressing can make your categories act like list items.

Alternatively, I posted a modified tpl_categories.php a while back that does simply make the categories a set of <ul> lists. I would have to look a bit to dig that up.
