Setting up zone and shipping

I just want something simple, not sure whether it's using the zone function.

I only ship nationally in Australia, if the user delivery address is other than Australia, i want it to display a message saying "sorry we don't ship to there". How do i do that? Thanks

You can set any shipping module to apply to a specific zone only. When you apply this setting, customers with addresses outside this zone will be given the warning that you want (we don't ship to your zone).

In the Zones shipping module, for example, you can set up to three "areas" of delivery, by configuring each "zone" to be applied to desired countries (insert the 2-digit country ISO code(s)). (You can add additional zones by editing the code, and resetting the module).

If you have no intention of selling/shipping outside of Australia, you can delete all other countries. This will prevent people from registering at your shop who do not reside in Australia.
