Utilising Side Columns

Unfortunatly I appear to have hit upon a stumbling block - I want to move the data for the products description page from the centre column, into the left colum and the thumbnail into the right column - I have successfully edited the tpl_product_info_display file, however try as Imight, I cant break it out of the centre column.

Any ideas chaps?

Probably better to disable unwanted columns by page type.

This can be achieved by editing tpl_main_page in:-

includes/templates/template_default/common

Then remember to SAVE the edited copy in your CUSTOM folder:-

includes/templates/CUSTOM/common

(create the "common" folder in your over-rides if necessary).

The instructions for disabling columns by page type are contained in the tpl_main_page.php file.
