when adding product options, is there any way to increase the length text n the comments section, it seems to cut off after so many characters

I see I have a few typos in this post, shouldn't be doing late night posts. When I enter text in the comments section of product option/options name, the characters stop after 60-70 characters. Is there any way to increase the number of characters I can enter?

You would need to increase the size of the field in the products_options table and make the size of the field:
products_options_comment

larger than the 64 characters ...

NOTE: be sure to do a backup of your database before making changes to the database tables ...

cant seem to find the products_options table

Check your database again ... Zen Cart doesn't work very well without this table when using Attributes ... as in you cannot build them without it ...
