Moving store to different computer

Hi,

I have been working on a store on my mac at work but needed to transfer it to my mac at home. Im using XAMPP and have the store folder in the htdocs within XAMPP. I copied the store folder so I could bring it home and place it in the same folder on my mac at home.

When I do this I get the following error message:

1146 Table 'zencart.configuration' doesn't exist
in:
[select configuration_key as cfgkey, configuration_value as cfgvalue from configuration]

Being new to this can someone please explain how I can sort this.

I don't know much about Macs file folder structure, but start by checking the configure.php files in both the /includes and /admin/includes folders. Make sure everything like the host for the SQL server, physical path to the root, ip address and such are correct for your new installation.

I am assuming you did a backup and restore for your database too?

Stuff4Toys last comment seems to me to hold the key to your problem. Something's not quite right with your database. Did you transfer it? If so, how?
