Over 70 lbs not calculating USPS

My USPS mod. is working fine, however over 70 it breaks, it will not calculate a price and it causes the cart to hang at login or going to checkout.

I have checked my max weight is 50000 lbs. Any other suggestions?

What happens if you set the Maximum to 70lbs?

What shipping methods for USPS do you have enabled?

Thanks for the update ...

USPS will only ship boxes up to a certain weight and when you have the Maximum set to high, the quotes will return that there are no shipping options because the boxes are considered overweight ...
