    Default SSL Site Seal

    Hello all,

    Have just signed up with GoDaddy SSL. Have tried for many hours to install the site seal but to no avail.

    I have installed the following sideboxes and have inserted the GoDaddy snippet into the respective 'slot' of each;

    Godaddy Plus.php
    Godaddy.php
    Blankbox.php

    No matter what I do, I cannot get any of them to work how they are supposed to?

    Any ideas..Ihave read many many threads on this forum over the last 20 hours or so and could not really find the solution.

    Thanks.

    Misty,

    Yes, good idea. Well...seems quite a stupid thing to have done, but I put it down to lack of sleep over a number of days....trying to acquire Zen.

    As you may know, when the time comes to install the GoDaddy site seal onto your website, or into a Zencart Sidebox Contribution, like Godaddy.php the advice is to paste the 'snippet' of GoDaddy information into the section of the code, which may be entitled 'place your GoDaddy snippet here' or similar. What I was doing wrong, was pasting the entire piece of code into the area, when what I should have been doing was placing only a particular part of the code into the sidebox contribution. So, after lots of trial and error, I figured it out and gave myself a pat on the back. Remembering to leave the 'speech marks' in place, the section that I cut and pasted into the sidebox contribution will look like this;

    '<script type="text/javascript" src=" https://seal.godaddy.com/getSeal?sealID=123456789123456789etc"></script>';
    ?>

    Once I had done this, the GoDaddy site seal appeared, as if by Magic, inside the GoDaddy Sidebox

    I really hope that this information helps someone.

    Best wishes.

    Have you thought about putting the godaddy seal in a sidebox? There's a download for itr in the downloads section.

    I use one on a site I developed: http://www.sa-shop.co.uk
