Make sure you check your ssl setting same way you start setup your site with the hosting. That's is, whether your side both support at www and without or just one. That was my problem and I fixed from there.

Some hosts (ie: DreamHost) have odd server/PHP configurations that prevent you from setting Recreate Session to true ... thus you don't get the protective benefits the feature offers.
