Assign different product listing templates by category

I'm changing a site from static (www.prestonribbons.com) to Zen Cart (www.prestonribbons.com/catalog). The product_listing.php template filew was modified (disclaimer - by someone much more skillful than me) to display sizes in the Ribbon Catalog category (example - http://prestonribbons.com/catalog/in...dex&cPath=17_1) to be the same as in the static site. Other Zen Cart categories have different product size info that won't work in the modified layout (example from static site - http://prestonribbons.com/pets.htm).

Before I get in way over my head I would like to know if there is a way to assign different product listing templates to different categories without massive rewrites of the code?

Maybe possible using stylesheet in conjunction with
