Zone Rates - Skip Countries not working

Hi Ajeh, thanks for replying but as I mentioned in my post I have tried it both with and without the country codes in then Zone 3 section (the only place they are in)
Any other thoughts?

Could you go to the Modules ... Shipping ... and click on the Zone Rate zones 1 time so you can see the panel on the right with all of the settings and copy and paste them here?

Zone one defines up to 100 lbs ...

All the other Zones only go to 2 or 2.5 lbs ... once beyond that weight you will hit $0.00 on shipping ...

On the Skip Countries, the Zone Rate zones should disappear if a country is selected that is in the defined in the Skip Zone ...

Hi Ajeh, yes I am using zone one for this country (UK) The problem is that Honesty Cosmetics (HC) then want any UK orders over £45 to go for free postage UK except for highland and islands (I am using a "Buy it" option for these places. The 100 kg limit assumes that the £45 limit would be reached first and so it would goto free postage. Everything between the last rate and the final figure would be charged at the same rate assuming the cost came to less than £45

Zone 2 is Europe and has a rate for parcels upto 2kg (Then special arrangements have to be made by calling HC)

Zone 3 is Rest Of World (ROW) and has a higher rate for parcels upto 2kg (Then special arrangements have to be made by calling HC)

I hoped the options to ship to canada and US would not be available from the drop down list at checkout time but they are.

Also if the zone 2 or zone 3 weights are above it would be great if there was some way of putting up text that says contact HC.

Earlier you said you were using GB then you mentioned UK, I am assuming that you were just referring to the Country and not what you have in the Zone shipping module ...

One thing you might look into is the Free Software Add On for the Zone Table ...

This lets you define the Zones more specifically and once all of the Zones are defined, you can install this module and you will see a dropdown in each of the Zone Definitions ...

That might help you define these better ...

For the Free Shipping, you could use Free Shipping Options freeoptions ...

This would allow for a Zone definition plus putting in limits ...

Depending on the configuration of the limits you may need some tweeking to the module but I would start with that ...

The usually place people need to tweak the code in the freeoptions.php file is at:

to change how the evaluations of the shipping is being done, example, changing the OR to AND in that IF statement ...

Hi all,

I need to display a warning in the "Step 1 of 3 - Delivery Information" page, when a customer is trying to order from a country that i have skipped in the zones definitions.

For instance:
Skip Countries: GB
Zone 1 Countries: AU, NZ, SG, KR

When customer from GB tries to order, I want to say "we do not currently ship to your area", however, currently just a blank "This is the only shipping destination.." and then no shipping options displayed.

In other words, how do I test 'if no zones returned, then display warning'? Maybe in this file?:
