Cross-Sell Mod Layout

I have looked through the other threads about cross-sell... Here is the problem I am having. I have installed cross-sell (and advanced cross-sell). I followed the install instructions. When I add this code <!-- BOF Cross-Sell information -->

<!-- EOF Cross-Sell information --> to the tpl_product_info_display.php file, it appears to work.

HOWEVER, the cross-sell box doesn't show up, and all of my right side boxes disappear. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

What's the code in tpl_modules_xsell_products.php?
Might be a div or something missing.

I absolutely cannot get this Cross Sell mod to work. Does anyone know how to safely UNINSTALL it?!?!
