Discounts tables for different client groups

HI all:

My client wants to have pricing scales (like the ones on price manager) for three different client "types" (or groups)

Like:

5K (Height x Width x Rate) - 8.25
10K (Height x Width x Rate) - 14.75
15K (Height x Width x Rate) - 19.75
20K (Height x Width x Rate) - 24.75
25K (Height x Width x Rate) - 32.75
30K (Height x Width x Rate) - 36.75

Where Height and Width will depend on each product. Last numbers are the Rate value.

Because the quantity is fixed, from 1K to 50K (1.000 to 50.000), he also wants a dropdown for selecting the quantity and, depending on this, the corresponding row from the table above would be selected for pricing.

I'm using Zen Cart 1.3.8a - Database Patch Level: 1.3.8

How can this be done?

Right now I'm browsing the forums to also see if I can hide the categories from certain user groups. Then it would be a matter of creating different categories/products for each user group, together with their prices, for one part of the solution.
