HTTP 404 Not Found, Cannot add products

I have been searching through forums trying to find out why i keep getting this when i'm trying to add products. I created a category then open that category folder to add product but keep getting sent to the 404 not found page. I read something somewhere to reload /admin, did this still doesnt work. tired searching for tutorial on how to add products but no luck. SOME ONE PLEASE HELP!

i looked at the tutorial to add products but it is not helpful. i still keep getting the HTTP 404 NOT FOUND page. does anyone know how to fix this?

Check that all your Zen Cart files have been uploaded

i gave up on trying to find out what was wrong and just uninstalled zencart and reinstalled it. now everything seems to work.
