How to ship to America only

I want my site to only ship to US. How would I change signup pages and Modify shipping address page to not display a dropdown of all the countries and just US.

also any other thoughts on the best way to go about this issue are welcome, if the above is not easily possible. the client just doesn't want to ship outside of America and we want to let the customer know that somehow.

You can also set up a zone which only includes the US - search the forums for 'zone'.

i had the same need. what i did - delete all but United States in Phpmyadmin in the countries table...

Yes but this would suck if you decided you did want to ship to all countries again.

It would also be kinda poopy if Grandma lived in Canada and wanted to shipping Tiny Tim a new crutch for Christmas and he lived in New York ...
