    Default Error 404 on install

Hello all, i'm new to this, fair warning.

I used Zen Cart on my site before when my hosting company offered fantastico, i've since taken the store down, and removed everything, now however I want to put it back on. I'm running into the issue on installing, since the host no longer provides fantastico.

here's my issue, and i've seen it on a few other posts, but didn't understand any of the solutions. When typing into the address bar www.mydomain.com/catalog the install doesnt begin... now i know what you're all probably going to say, "catalog is only a placeholder for what you call it" and I know that, the actual information is ww w.p8ntballsteves.com/Store, but i figured putting it that way would make sense to you all. Now i've followed the installation guide to the T, changed all permissions as stated, and changed the config file names. ZC_INSTALL has all components as best i can tell. and i've tried removing, and reinstalling all the ZC files. I also unzipped on my local computer, and uploaded using filezilla.

I'm not sure whats causing this error, and was hoping someone could shed some light on the subject. I don't know what if anything needs to be configured, but in my cpanel, i do have MySQL, and PHP icons. Granted, i don't know what they are, what they stand for, or what configurations need to be done to them, but i'm willing to try.

A 404 error means the page is not found.

The directory p8ntballsteves.com/Store does not exist, basically.

When you uploaded with Filezilla, which directory did you upload all the files into?

The requested URL /Store was not found on this server.
Where *exactly* did you upload your "/Store" folder to?

It needs to be underneath your "webroot" (ie: public_html or htdocs or httpdocs, etc). If you uploaded it to the *same* folder where you *see* public_html, then you're in the wrong place. Move it into the public_html folder instead, and things should work better.

Browsers cannot access files that are above the public_html (or htdocs/httpdocs/etc) folder.

I put it directly into p8ntballsteves.com/Store when I open Filezilla, it is in the / area, below public_html. I Moved the entire folder into public_html, and all is good, thanks guys.
