Downloads

Hopefully someone can help me, I am looking to create a downloads section on my site. We sell scanners but we dont charge for the scanner drivers. This zencart site has a downloads area to download mods and that is basically what I am looking to do. I dont want to make it a product and make the customer go through any type of shopping cart. Does anyone know of a mod that works like this?

I'm not sure that you need a mod for this, though it really depends on just how similar you want it to be to the Downloads section here, as well as how many drivers you have. I think you could do this using EZ-Pages, possibly making use of the TOC. When you want to provide a download link, just display the url of where the download is on the server.

Perhaps create an Ezypages page and list all your download drivers there, and have a link to your ezpages page from your header and footer.
