Carn't get my email & Contact me working!!

Hi Guys
My First post here, and my first ecommerce attempt!!
I am having a mother of a time trying to get my site to send emails, contact me messeges etc..

This is where I am at the moment, I'm slowly making progress.. I have used Clyde Jones Glacial age template, I like the look of it!!

I have also installed on my host space a phpbb forum which sends out mail no problem shows in the receiving email... cpanel17.uk2.net

I have checked with my host about the nobody check box from root cpanel, they assure me this is indeed unchecked..

As you can see I have Email Transport set at php... Have pasted my email settings, praying someone has the answer..

Well.. unbeleivably I found the problem...

It was an email addy I setup with my host for receiving my commecial mail... None of the accounts recieved any of my mail from my zen cart site.... Dunno why tbh!!

However when I changed all the email addy's to my own at home, everything is working fine..

I have drove myself nuts with this one all frigging day!!

I had a similar problem where e-mails from my Zen Cart store didn't come through to e-mail addresses with the same domain name. I believe that Zen Cart was sending the e-mail properly, but there was some conflict with my host.

As a workaround I created a separate e-mail account that forwards all the messages to the correct addresses. There is most likely a more direct way to fix this, but I have not had any problems with my solution yet.

I'm thinking I had the same problem.... So I'll sort a new email addy out for forwarding!! Nice one..

Thanks for the compliment. It has actually been my (nearly) full time job working for this company on various multimedia projects. So finding time to invest has been no problem. I'm currently working on a major overhaul of the site to correct some mistakes I made during the initial development. This project has been my first experience with Zen Cart, so now that know more about it I'm pretty sure it can be improved.

and working perfectly.
