i KNOW this has been answered before, but every suggestion/fix posted on the forum is having ZERO effect on this space.
I just want it to go away.

I have the same problem at this site: http://www.willowsembroiderynook.com. I am using the cherry_zen template on this version 1.38a site.
The problem only occurs in ie.
On http://www.pinkinkgraphics.com/ I am having an issue like it, only the space is in the top above the logo, and in ie, it's fine, but in firefox the space shows up... Using classic template, this is also a version 1.38a site.
Aggravating to say the least.
I would greatly appreciate any help I can get to resolve these issues.
