Yes, I need it too. My current terrible clunky DOS-Days shopping cart can do it. So my entire store is set up to select attributes AND quantity at the same time. So I'm stuck already, because I really do need to continue doing it that way. I might as well quit for now. I hope that when you say "sometime this year", I hope you mean it.![]()
Just replying with a "me too" so I can add the notification for future post...
Any idea when its coming out? Any other solutions?![]()
Another request for this one. I've not required this before but now that I do, I am pretty surprised it hasn't been built in, it's quite an important one!
One of the Add-on's is able to do this. I've used it a lot, and it works very well. I believe it's called Product Attributes Grid. I haven't had any problems with this Add-on. And I don't know what I would do without it.
Oh wait, no. You're talking about displaying the In-Stock Quantity next to each attribute. I'm talking about the customer being able to specify how many of each "attribute" they want to buy. The Product Attributes Grid puts a quantity box next to each attribute, so the customer can enter how many of each "attribute" they want to buy. Such as 1 of pink and 3 of green.
YES, it would be nice to have more controls and features for Attributes. I don't want to display the quantity, but I wish I could enter a quantity for each attribute. I've run into this problem a lot. I sell lots of doll shoes. I can enter an overall quantity for ITEM A, but I can't specify how many of each color. Maybe I have 30 of pink and 75 of hot pink, which is a typical scenario in my shop. It would be immensely helpful to be able to specify how many of each is in stock.
I don't like to display quantities on the front end. But I would like to have some control on the back end so when something is sold out, they can't order it. As it is, I'm constantly giving small refunds for out of stock items.
This is an important feature thats causing alot of people to ditch zencart for other carts like Magento! We love zencart but this feature is killing the zencart platform!![]()
I do love ZenCart a whole lot. I've been using it for a year now and it's really nice to work with.
