    Default Error using (AIM) module

    Hello,

I have v1.3.7 running with AIM module set up on a GoDaddy SSL; unshared - using Dreamhost for web-hosting. All API login ID and transaction key info is correct.

Issue: Payment is authorized and captured, shows up as pending within the Authorize account online - but error on site saying 'Your transaction has been approved - The transaction cannot be authorized for this reason' or something to that effect. The debug data arrives in the email with the link to an error (13) invalid or inactive account.

I talked to 6 reps all day yesterday to eventually be told: "sorry you have exhausted our support options. Please email [email protected]" which I did and they did not reply.

So I downloaded the 1.3.8 version and compared the two in WinnMerge and noticed the differences.

Is the module file authorizenet_aim.php independent or do I need to do a complete upgrade to 1.3.8?

I am hoping this will solve the problem, since I am short on ideas at this point.

    Any words would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

The module file itself is only dependent on the language file by the same name.

That said, it's possible that there may be some 1.3.8 functions used in the 1.3.8 version of the module which may create some additional dependencies which you might need to explore.
    But, it's worth a try.

So far so good. I performed test mode successfully on all card varieties and then switched to production mode - with complete success so far. I have run two production mode transactions thus far and all the information seems to be accumulating in the proper places: ZenAdmin, Authorize account online, and in the appropriate email boxes.

    What I did:

#1) Located the language file version of authorizenet_aim.php in: /zen/includes/languages/english/modules/payment

#2) Since there was a classic folder there I created a 'mycustomtemplate' folder in the directory /zen/includes/languages/english/modules/payment

    #3) I took the authorizenet_aim.php located in:
zen/includes/languages/english/modules/payment of my freshly unzipped v1.3.8 on my desktop. I copied authorizenet_aim.php to a test folder on my desktop. I then uploaded it to:
    mydesktop/zen/includes/languages/english/modules/payment/mycustomtemplate

#4) Back on my website, I located the module version of the file authorizenet_aim.php in:
    /zen/includes/modules/payment

#5) Back to v1.3.8 on my desktop, I located the new v1.3.8 authorizenet_aim.php in:
    mydesktop/zen/includes/modules/payment

and copied the file to the test folder on my desktop.

#6) I then uploaded the file to my website /zen/includes/modules/payment replacing the original authorizenet_aim.php( I backed this up first ) since there was no classic folder there to override the template.

I did #1-6 with the AIM module uninstalled from my Admin. Once I completed #1-6 I reloaded the AIM module to pleasant results.

Please excuse all the elaboration - I found very little in the way of solving this problem online. As well, I found a lot of people who went through the same pain of dealing with Authorize.net service people who don't really have the answers.

More testing will tell the tale, but so far so good.

    Thanks for responding.
