How can Zen Cart do this?

Hello, I just became aware of Zen cart, so pardon me if this is a dumb question. We're working with a potential client that wants to sell exterior home shutters on the Internet. The shutters are priced by width and inches of length, that is, a 14" wide shutter is $1.06 per inch of length and so on. I need to compute the price (inches of length times cost per inch), display it on the ordering page, and pass the computed price to the cart when the customer clicks Submit. How can Zen Cart do this?
