new Account Welcome Message

I give up, please put me out of my misery, where is the "welcome new account" message so I can edit it.

I am not sure which part of the file you are looking for, but if you are wanting to add or change the text in a part of the welcome email you can try:

includes/languages/english/create_account.php

Also this is an overrides file so be sure to put a copy in the appropriate folder and then modify that one to your hearts content.

Do you also use the developers toolkit? (Admin - tools - developers toolkit) type the word(s) you are looking for in the bottom box, change the dropdown to all files and volia you probably have the file you are looking for.

Wow this is great. And Obe1 you are fantastic at giving an answer that is understandable to us newbies. But.. can you or someone tell me how to have included in my welcome email the customers user name and password?

I'm thinking I will have to change some code somewhere, which makes me nervous, but I really want to give my customers the option to save my welcome email since it will contain information they will need to return to my site and shop.
