All I know is that I use dreamweaver to edit zen files eg the stylesheet.css

and I use the zencart admin aswell.

As everything else was set up without me, and I'm quite knew to it all. I do remember our i.t bloke mentioning doing a database back up which I have performed before but when it comes to 'managing my hosting account' I don't know what the jargon means! I mean, I know I must probably be doing what you mention but I wouldn't know to call it that if you know what I mean!

Yes, have done and he gave me the login for my php which I was able to use, all very straight forward and thanks to this thread I could change the character count,
