Placing an Order without creating an account

I apologise if this is in the forum if it is can you please point me in that direction.

I was wondering if it is possible for a customer to place an order with out creating an account first.

So it is just the order they want not the account. As some customers don't like the thought of their details being kept somewhere.

This has been asked many times - you can't do it with the regular Zencart installation.

There are some mods which purport to make it possible - also search the forum for 'checkout without login'.
