where is my zc_install

I haven't been able to get a clear answer in the forum about the zc_install directory. I can't find it! I'm on version 1.3.8a. There is no folder called zc_install and I've searched for an install.php and nothing. This is making me crazy. Thanks for any help!

The zc-install folder is in the root of the Zencart zip file. If you don't see it when you upload the files, you'll need to upload them again. If your cart has already been installed, the zc-install folder was deleted.

You don't run anything directly fron zc-install or an install.php file. Upload the files and then point your browser to the URL where you installed Zencart to run the installation.

You may have installed the files (or had them installed you) using Fantastico. It does not include the zc_install directory when this is done.

You will need to click on the downloads link above and get your version of Zen from sourceforge.net. Unzip it and upload the zc_install folder. Be sure to rename the folder to secure the site and remove it when you're thru.
