How to disallow P.O. Box in shipping address?

Good day!

Anybody please help me how do I disallow customers to enter P.O. Box in shipping address. I wanted to let customers know that we cannot ship through P.O. Box.

What shipping/payment methods are you usimg? You may be able to restrict it in the payment or shipping set up in admin. Or, you could add a note to the shopping cart and or payment pages stating that you will not ship to POs.
Another good place to notify is the Shipping/Returns page.

we are using UPS for shipping and Authorize.net for payment.

what we wanted to happen is to make it known to customers that we cannot ship to PO Boxes. so if the customer puts in a PO box in the shipping address we should inform that UPS does not ship to PO boxes and reject the order until they enter a business address or residential address.

I could write a contribution for this. I don't think it would be difficult. I could probably get something together for tomorrow. Exactly which address pages would you say should be validated?

I would suggest create_account.php and login.php

you can just add the validator to the existing js file
