watermark images on templates

Hi everyone.

Im not sire if this is the correct area for this question so forgive me if its not. A newby here

Having downloaded Zencart and browsing thru the template section, ready to start designing our site. There are a few templates that appeal to us, however is it possible to change the background colours etc on them?

Also is it possible to add watermark images to the background colours, ie...on either side of the actual shop front? If so is this easy to do?

You can change the background colors by adjusting the stylesheet.

I'm not sure what you mean by adding a "watermark" to the background color, but you can add a background image if that's what you want.

Thank you for your reply, its much appreciated.

Im not very good at explaining myself at times so please forgive me. What I mean about a watermark is almost like a faded image that contrasts with background colour. It almost looks like a sketch rather than an image. o, dear now Ive probably confused people even more. It so hard putting into words what I can imagine in my head.......doh. sorry.

I think I know what you mean. You'd have to make an image that's got the text or image you want on it and use that as your background.
