How to issue credit card refund?

We use authorize.net for payment processing. Can we issue refunds or partial refunds via the zen-cart admin interface or must we do this through authorize.net?

Is it possible to issue a refund without getting the CC # from the customer again?

I don't use authorize.net, but most CC processors offer a control panel where refunds, etc. are done.

You'll be able to choose a transaction to refund, so you won't need to contact the customer again.
