    Default Sytem Setup Required

I've tried re-installing many times. Afte installation completes and I go to Admin I get the following page:
Hello. Thank you for loading Zen Cart™.
You are seeing this page for one or more reasons:
This is your first time using Zen Cart™ and you haven't yet completed the normal Installation procedure.
If this is the case for you, you will need to upload the "zc_install" folder using your FTP program, and then run zc_install/index.php via your browser (or reload this page to see a link to it).

Your /includes/configure.php and/or /admin/includes/configure.php file contains invalid path information and/or invalid database-connection information.
If you recently edited your configure.php files for any reason, or maybe moved your site to a different folder or different server, then you'll need to review and update all your settings to the correct values for your server.
See the Online FAQ and Tutorials area on the Zen Cart™ website for assistance.

    To begin installation ...
The Installation Documentation can be read by clicking here: Documentation
You will need to upload the "zc_install" folder using your FTP program, and then run zc_install/index.php via your browser (or reload this page to see a link to it).
The Online FAQ and Tutorials area on the Zen Cart™ website will also be of value if you run into difficulties.
I've checked and I can't seem to find anything wrong with the configure files. Unless maybe I'm missing something since I'm very new to all of this. Help anyone??

Please do NOT use enlarged typeset. It is the same as shouting and will not do you any good.

As for your problem: Have a look at your php.ini file to make sure the "includes" path is correctly setup.
    Code:
    include_path=".;C:\Apps\PHP5\Pear;"

If your host allows for custom php.ini files to be used, you will find the file in your root directory of your website. If not, speak to your host and ask them to make sure that the settings are correct.

If you post your configure.php file contents here (without the password), maybe we can spot the problem.

I'm not sure if this may have any effect on my problem or not but...
When I first tried to install zencart I was getting an http 500 error. The guy who manages the webserver who hosts my site downloaded zencart and fixed the bugs on his end to allow it to install. I went back in and re-installed zencart from the folder I had oringinally uploaded. Both his folder he placed there and installed and the one I did are both within my public folder. Should I delete one of them?

Well, your files all point to a "catalog" folder. So if that's the one you want to keep, then delete the other. Or do vice-versa.

The file contents you posted mention /catalog ... but when I try to surf to that folder with my browser, I get a message from your server saying that that URL is not found. So, you must have deleted that already.
