We sell large items and we must quote our clients shipping on certain items.

We want to have an easy checkout and this is what I would like it to work like:

1. If customer chooses item's what don't have a CUSTOMSHIPPINGREQUIRED flag set for the product then they can just checkout and it will use standard shipping modules to calculate the shipping.

2. If they have an item that is flagged as custom shipping quote required I'd like to have their cart saved and then we can quote them and then reply and they'll be able to log in and check out.

I know this is going to be hard because the client signs up for an account during check-out and then it will need to save their cart somehow. Also setting that flag on the products that need it will have to be figured out? I was thinking if I put a word like CUSTOM in the shipping weight field maybe that could work?

Please let me know your thoughts guys as I need to get this figured out as soon as possible!
